Mina Gohary is a final year undergraduate from the University of Westminster, and an RIBA Part I Architectural Assistant based in London. During her time at university, Mina’s projects have allowed her to explore and develop her interests in place identity, adaptive reuse, heritage and material exploration.
Through her projects, Mina has explored theoretical and philosophical concepts whilst addressing social, political and environmental issues. Her projects range from mixed use schemes to urban scale masterplans. Mina places importance on content and creates visual communication work through her focus on process, research and developing new methodologies.
A keen writer, Mina’s time in Design Studio 3 at UoW has enabled her to exercise her writing whilst also engaging in design practice. Her essays work in conjunction with her design work, and drive the narratives of her projects.
